How much does it cost to live in Curaçao per month?

Country Caribbean Updated July 2026

A single adult on a moderate lifestyle in Curaçao spends $3,100 per month, with housing ($1,852) the largest line, then groceries and dining ($403), entertainment and transport ($181 each), utilities and healthcare ($141 each). A couple typically lands at $4,800 to $5,500 combined. Budget single living (a frugal local-style setup with a small flat in outer Willemstad, minimal car use, and home cooking) runs around $1,860 a month. Comfortable single living with a modern apartment closer to the coast and regular dining out runs about $4,805. The biggest variable is housing: rentals in tourist-adjacent or beachside areas can double the housing line, while inland or further from Willemstad knocks 25 to 35 percent off.
