How much does a coke cost in El Salvador?

Country Latin America Updated July 2026

A 500ml Coca-Cola in El Salvador typically costs $0.75 to $1.25 at a supermarket and $1.50 to $2.50 at a sit-down restaurant. A 2-litre bottle from a supermarket runs roughly $1.80 to $2.50. Local soda brands and store-brand colas are cheaper, often $0.50 to $0.90 for the same size. Beverages are priced in US dollars (the official currency since 2001), so there is no conversion to do. Casual dining drink prices sit modestly below US averages, while supermarket prices for imported brands sit roughly in line with US prices because much of the inventory is imported from the US directly.
