How expensive is it to live in Guam per month?

Guam costs around $2,650 per person per month for a moderate lifestyle, which works out to about $31,800 a year. Housing carries the largest weight: rent for a one-bedroom averages $1,500 to $2,500, depending on whether you are in Tumon’s tourist core, the Hagåtña capital area, or further inland in Dededo or Yigo. Utilities add another $150 to $250 a month, with air conditioning the biggest driver from May through November. Groceries run 20 to 40 percent above the mainland average and fuel sits a few cents above the US national average.
